Northfield Automation Announces New VP of Operations and Director of Engineering

Northfield, MN (PRWEB) July 2, 2008 -- Jerome Susa and Mark Loftus have joined the Northfield Automation Systems team. Susa and Loftus are based in the Northfield, Minn., office. Both will play key roles in the growth and continuous improvement of Northfield Automation's operations and engineering staff. Jerome Susa joins Northfield Automation Systems as Vice President of Operations with more than 18 years management and leadership experience. While at Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN. Jerome directed a number of the groups within their Equipment Engineering department. These groups include Project Management, Software Development, Electrical Controls Engineering, Machining Services and the Equipment Assembly and Build functions. He joins Northfield Automation Systems with impressive experience leading operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams in the design and build of custom automated equipment (http://www.northfieldautomation.com/customautomation.aspx).

Mark Loftus rejoins Northfield Automation Systems as Director of Engineering. His expertise in engineering management, project management, and mechanical engineering will help to ensure that equipment designs are of the highest quality. Loftus spent the last four years working for Boston Scientific in Maple Grove as a lead engineer, project manager and most recently as the mechanical engineering manager. In that role, Loftus gained valuable leadership experience developing staffing models, and ensuring that projects were executed and delivered according to plan.
